Inspec-Ther

AI-assisted thermal inspection of solar PV assets—pairing field imagery with annotation and review workflows.

Challenge

Solar inspection produces large volumes of thermal imagery that need consistent labels before models or operators can act on defects.

Role

CTO & Co-Founder — technical systems and labeling product adjacency via Athena.

Design decisions

  • Ground inspection work in human-reviewed annotations rather than unverified model output.
  • Reuse Athena labeling patterns for thermal imagery where the annotation task is the bottleneck.

Current state

Positioned publicly as a Stratetics sub-brand for solar inspection. Public receipts today are portfolio presence plus Athena labeling evidence on thermal-style imagery—not a separate quantified case study.

What I learned

  • Inspection value depends on annotation quality as much as on capture hardware.
